Introduction



Polymers are often sticky. When the temperature is low, the viscosity will be higher. What's more worse, polymers may crystallized so that pipe and reactor is block. Therefore, this series of reactor need to be designed after confirming the polymer properties and product quality. Allowance must be made for the effects of high viscosities on both heat transfer and reaction kinetics. The molecular structure of polymers may be affected by chemistry, reactor configuration and process conditions, all of which must be well understood in the selection and design of reactors. HXCHEM pilot reactors and related stirring tech. can help solve the difficulties in the intermediate production of polymerization.
