Lab short path evaporator
Introduction
This series evaporator called lab short path evaporator（If the distance between evaporator and condenser is in the order of the average free path length of the molecules, this process is also called "molecular distillation".）. SPE is a special type of thin film distillation technology, which combines thin film evaporator and condenser in a single apparatus. The vapour are condensed on the built-in condenser. The path between the evaporation and condensation is extremely short, therefore, the pressure drop is low. Thanks to the short residence time, low temperature and short path evaporation design, thermal stress and decomposition of the product can be minimized.
